Is it going to be a cold winter?

Just the other day, I saw a squirrel sitting near our patio...eagerly feeding on some kind of tree pod. I quickly grabbed my camera and shot from behind the window....trying my best not to startle the little guy.

I've been told that if the animals seem to be getting plumper than they normally are...it's probably because they are anticipating a long cold winter and hence are trying to really fatten before going into hibernation. And these animal instincts are seldom wrong!

Look at this big butt! Does it mean that we are gonna get a long cold winter?

The little guy had bad table manners...it didn't clean up after eating!
