Marina Bay Sands

We decided to book a night's stay at MBS on Singapore's National Day just to experience the new hotel and its views. It was pricey....so it'd probably be our first and last time at MBS =P

We were a little disappointed that we didn't get a room that's facing the bay area where the NDP celebrations were held. Instead, we got a sea-facing room.....it was really nice with a fantastic view of the sea but we weren't able to see the fireworks from our room.

There were a lot of hiccups during our stay there.....but we were determined to enjoy ourselves and we did.

The hotel itself ain't fantastic but the views from the skypark and from the rooms are its main selling feature.

We were able to catch the fireworks at the lift lobby......not as comfortable as if we were able to view from our room...but still amazing as the fireworks felt like they were exploding right in front of us.
